At Summer Wine Dog Walking, we pride ourselves on providing a fun experience for your beloveddog. We are dog owners ourselves, and we know how important it is to know that when we’re at work, our best friend is looking forward to meeting their best friends on a woodland walk in the Holme Valley area.
We are fully insured, DBS checked and certified in dog first aid.
Dog Walking:
We come to you to pick up your dog in an unmarked vehicle, for your security, and we take them out for at least an hour of actual walk time (usually longer!). Once the walk is over, we towel dry them as best we can and drop them off back at your home; ready to welcome you with that warm lick they like to do to say “thank you” for letting them have the bestest day a dog can have!
Dog Walk – £13 for one dog or £22 for two dogs from the same household.
Holiday and Cancelation Policy:
As A Dog Walker: I take up to 2 weeks a year for holidays (not including bank holidays). When I am on holiday, I do not charge for the time I have off. If you require a walk on a bank holiday, I can do so for an additional £5 per dog, per walk. If I have an emergency, I will let you know as soon as possible.
As A Customer: Dog walking has a set number of dogs, with no backup clients for holidays and cancelations, therefore in order to work with my clients, I allow 2 weeks (10 working days - booked in weekly blocks, not individual days) per year where I will charge only half of your contracted walks as a retainer. For example, if you usually have 4 walks a week and you are off for 2 weeks, you will be charged for 4 walks and not 8.
Cancelations will be charged at full price. In the event of an emergency, cancelations will be charged at half the price of a walk unless otherwise agreed.
